the
challenge
Boazbikes brought us on board to support their API and mobile app development, with the latter focusing on new features for our application. The app is for customers to rent scooters in various cities. We use the same app for operations; our operations team performs various tasks through the applications to help maintain our scooters.
our approach
We built the app from scratch. Using Node.js for the API, React.js for the admin dashboard, and React Native for the mobile application. There are also a number of Google Services we used, including maps and others.
The solution was planned and designed from scratch to support its usage by thousands of users at the same time, providing real-time bike’s related data to each of the cities where Boazbikes is working, as required by the government to companies in the micro-mobility industry.

result
Boazbikes is successfully running in 5 U.S cities and has ambitious expansion plans for this year. Softedge & Boaz are still working together and have a very large backlog of features to build, so there is plenty to do to prepare what is next.
